We couldn't go all the way to Chicago, be only 3.5 hours away from the famous Hamilton Wood Type Museum in Two Rivers and NOT pay them a visit?! So we did and it was AWESOME!!!
I learnt so much about the history of wood type and how it was produced back in the day. I learnt how the pantograph works, how they got the type high measurement and where you can identify the maker of your wood font. I also met the nicest group of people who were so welcoming to us and I think I purchased half of their shop! haha
